To play VCDs,
Power On
open the tray,
press 0, 0, 0, 1,
and press play.

Hi I found this on the web as I am looking at buying one from the States
power on
open tray
use remote and press 81328
press enter until region 9 appears on the screens
press play
close tray
now it is multi region
this works for both the 1960 and the 1966
