Hi Steve,
I have a dvd unlocker prog. but your machine does not feature,however the 150HT does but I don`t know how much of a difference there is,but it mught be worth a try.technique as follows:
1. Open the drive tray
2. Press buttons 9,8,1,7 on the remote and in order
3. This may get you into the Hidden Menu where you can change the Region Code through 1-6 or just use 9 for Region Free
4 You can also disable macrovsion in this menu if you wish

HI Alan,
Hack for a PS2 (scph 10000)
!. Press and hold circle,Right and L1
2.Press and hold L3 push stick in hard
3. Boot into the PS" browser without CD?DVD in the tray
4. Press Circle and R1 on the DVD
5. Hold Right until Menu appears
6. Press Circle and R1 again.
if this does not work you may have to buy either game shark or dvd regionx,messiah 2 or magic 2 installed..........hope you get there.....jim polson

Hi There,
There are two options for the LG5083 either on the DVD ket pad but you do have to be quick with the key numbers,I also have it available on disc with load instruction,I usually find that the disc option is much better,get back to me and we could sort something out.......
