I`ll try that, do all players suffer from jerkyness with playback of AVI`s then or is just the Skyworth?

SkyWorth 3650 player issues

Hi,

I am having problems playing back Divx AVI files on the Skyworth. The most annoying problem is that some AVIs play back quite jerky.

The second issue is that the DVD player displays in the top left corner of the screen a timer which shows how long the movie has been playing for, but only when playing AVI`s. I have tried pressing all the buttons on the remote but it just won`t turn off.

I have looked through this forum and found articles realting to the denver firmware upgrade to fix tghe jerky issues which it seems has had mixed results but there has been no mention of the annoying timer display issue.

Hope someone can help beore I smash it up!
