VCD problems on Samsung 709

Help
Why can`t I get VCD`s to work on my 709, I have quite a few that have been purchased and none of them work on my DVD player thay work fine on my PC. Could it be something to do with the Multiregion Hack??

VCd`s on Samsung 709

Help does anybody know how i can get my Samsung 709 to accept VCD`s that i have burnt, do i have to use special CD`s (branded or Unbranded) It won`t even accept shop bought VCD`s.
Could it be to do with the AIWA remote hack
