Philips DVD957 Spare Parts

Hi Guys,

Can anyone recommend anywhere to get a replacement laser for my DVD player, I haven`t used it that much and alreadyt he lense has gone, had the unit about 2 years though!

I too have just got a Philips 701 DVD player and would like to know how to make it a multi-region player. I have been hunting for solution to this and so far the best one is actually on this site and says that you can use the omniremote software from your palm-pilot but the link to the .pdb file doesn`t work. All the other solutions say that you can switch from region 1 to 2 and back again but it may only work 25 times and then lock the player!!!

Any help on this would be very much appreciated.
