Thanks for the help. It got me a little closer to fixing the problem... hopefully!
I went to the web page you mentioned however the site is not letting me download ANY of the firmware file at all. Are any of you having the same problem or is it a setting on my computer that is restricting it? The page just reloads when clicking on the link to download the zip file. I`m not impressed by liteons website.

How do I get my computer DVD burner to read Bali DVD`s?

Hi all,

I recently went to Bali and bought some DVDs over there.
We were able to play them on the DVD player at the hotel but when i brought them back here, i couldnt play them on the DVD burner stated below.
I tried dling the trial version of a DVD region free software program but to no avail.
Is there anything else that i can try because i know the DVDs can play but i dont know how to hack into them with the burner ive got.
