Well I tried that and then powered off/on and stuck a region 1 disk in, and after a moment of brief activity I got the familiar "Wrong Region" message on screen :(

Cheapnoob ... i tried it too and it didn`t work for me either, but thanks for posting it and letting us have a go.
Did you get in touch with them and tell them it didn`t work ?
Seems like a hack for a different model, as part of the instructions says to press the "select" button on the remote ..... and there isn`t one !

I have tried all the other Technika hacks out of desperation !!!!!
