RE: PAL/NTSC AND DVD`s

When I bought the player, I used a hack to set the region code to 0. Then I had to change my settings in the Cyberhome menu from PAL to NTSC while in the states - it didn`t recognise whether it was PAL or NTSC automatically. I have the 10.2" version - not sure if that makes a difference. Good luck!

I bought a cyberhome portable dvd player, and was able to play PAL region 2 dvds on to an ntsc tv in the states. This player is great and plays EVERYTHING, on its own screen, or you can output to a PAL or NTSC tv. I use it so my parents (who live in the states) can see videos of the kids that are taken using a PAL digital camcorder. Very nifty. 8)

Help: Does Shinco 1750 play ntsc and pal?

I`m looking to buy a portable dvd player for a present, and need one that is multiregion and plays ntsc/pal. The 7" Shinco 1750 says it is multiregion, but does anyone know for sure that it plays both ntsc AND pal dvds? I`ve scoured the web to no avail, and Christmas is getting very close for deliveries..... :o
