hi , i have been trying various combinations and i may have found somthing ,
1 turn on the player and press the open button
2 on remote press ` stop 1 2 3 `
3 ` VER 20040809 2 4 ` appears onscreen , but i can not seem to be able to change it

NOTE : it seems to lock the player after you enter the code , you have to turn the player off on the back and wait about 5-10 seconds then turn back on and it should work again -

if anyone can work out the rest of the hack let me know , i will also keep trying ,,

if any one has managed to get disc 2 to work can you tell me what revision no. it is,
my original copy is " 22659D10&2 "
the replacement disc is " 22659D10&2/1.2 "

are there any other versions out there ???

you can find this number by looking at the playing side (the picture is facing away from you) between the center hole and the start of the playing surface.

me again (see above)

i called warner today (7/6/02) and they said because the replacement disc will not play ether it is there for a problem with your dvd player, they did say i have 3 options

1 exchange the dvd for a copy of the video
2 put up with the fact that you can not play disc 2
3 buy a new dvd player

so it seems that disc 2 will not play in most (if not all) aiwa and lg dvd players (and possibly some/all "budget players") even with the replacement disc 2 !!

time to phone warner`s help line and demand to speak to the management i think !!!

hi i also have had problems with disk 2 - it also lock`s when choosing a wand, ( i have a aiwa xd dv 370 player ) the first 2 copies were from my local asda ( both locked when choosing a wand ) then i saw the press release from warner so i called them and they posted me a replacement disc which arived this morning, i have just tryed it and it also locks when choosing a wand !!! so i am going to give them another call tomorow and see what they say

I had a problem with disk 2 also, i got to the pick a wand part but as soon as i did the dvd would lock up (no button would work - on the player or the remote ! )
I bought my copy from asda , and desided to have a refund because some friends had problems with disk 2 as well (they got there`s from hmv and w h smiths)

i purchased the wide screen dvd and have a awia xd-dv370 dvd player

all region 2 disney releases have the extra`s cut eg. thx/dts sound, audio commentary`s,read along, trivia game`s,music video`s,making of,bonus cartoon`s,and on some the screen size (or choice of full/widescreen ) .

if you can stick to region 1 - i do !!

shaft will not load properly in my matsui 110, it will display the copyright warnings and then stop, i then have to press play again and it play`s most time`s, also it will stop when trying to find some of the extra`s

i have a matsui 110 set to R0 and the r1 copy`s of toy story ultimate toy box and fantasia legacy, and my player will only play the intro on ts disk 3 and only the fantasia 1 extra`s
