Sound inteference problems
I have just bought a dvd player ( phillips 711) and find that if I pause the disc and turn the volume up I can hear the soundtrack from the normal channels (at the time it was the Eastenders theme tune). Needless to say this did not add to the atmosphere of the latest Stargate episode.
I have the dvd linked directly to the tv via a scart lead and a video linked to the dvd with a scart. Any suggestions?
RE: Yet another cry for help! (including aiwa 370)
Thanks for the advice.
The search for an Aiwa begins.
Yet another cry for help! (including aiwa 370)
Ok, I know its been asked before but advice is needed.
I want a budget dvd, it basically has to play dvds with decent picture and sound, and low or no operating noise. (not bothered about CDs or MP3s etc). Oh, and multi-region hackable and RCE capable.
However I only have an 12 year old 14" TV with no scart but just the socket for the arial lead from my video, a 1 year old Panasonic which has 2 scart sockets labelled, AV1 TV, and AV2 Decoder/Ext. I have no additional speakers.
Will this set up work? What is this about shuddering through the video? Do I need a new tv and if so should it have one or two scarts?
I have more or less decided on an Aiwa 370 ( I believe it rocks).
Advice anyone?
