RE: samsung HT-X200
Robsonic71
As The Code For Multiregion is 9
I would Guess that if you Re-apply the Hack and Change the Numbers in Line No 6 To
6. Press 8, 4, 2, 6, 2 on the remote. (There will be no on-screen response.)
It should in Theory Change The Region Coding Back to Region 2
But as with all Hacks you Try at your Own Risk
Hope This Helps

RE: Can`t record US vids to DVD. Any hacks?
United States Videos ( And DVD`s) are in NTSC Format and European Videos & DVD`s are in PAL Format
If you Play an NTSC Video on a PAL only TV the Pictures will be in Black & White ( and Fuzzy) you need to set the VCR Players Output to PAL or Change the TV to accept NTSC ...if possible.
It is not a Region Problem as Videos have No region Protection on them is is to do with Colour System Compatibility .... NTSC on PAL only TV`s will be seen in Black & White and visa Versa

RE: Washing machine problem
Another thing to Check
Is the Outlet Connected to a Standpipe or to the U Bend under the sink
If it is Connected to the U Bend make sure that the Water being drained from the Sink is not flowing back into the Machine ....lift the Pipe so that it goes Up before dropping down to the Machine
I had a Machine that kept filling up when not in Use and the above was the Cause

No Spoiler here but a little tip for those with a bit of Patience ...if you sit through the Closing Credits there is an Extra Clip to be watched at the end of them....but beware there are a lot of Credits to sit through

RE: Parking Fine - Ethical Dilemma
It can depend on what area of the Country the Ticket was Issued but it is is not just the Registration Number that is noted when a Parking or Excess charge Tickets are Issued.
The Tax Disk information is also Collected as well ,and you can also be traced via this if the Registration appears as Invalid or Untraceable.
Athough the Information on the Ticket that is left on the Offending Vehicle usually only states the Registration of the Vehicle and location of the Parking Offence ...Much more information is collected by the Warden and Recorded on the Part of the Ticket that the Driver does not see.
If the Fine does arrive (and it may not) then an Appeal against the Ticket on the Grounds of The Registration not being Correct may work ...if this fails then the Ticket must be paid in Full with no extra charge.
Of course the option of challenging the Ticket at Magistrates and if you really wanted to Crown Court can be taken ...but if these option fail then the Cost of the Ticket would increase dramatically with the Fines and Court costs that would be added.

Panasonic Players or Recorders Cannot Be Hacked with the Handset Supplied with Them
Check this post on Methods of Achieving Region Free on Panasonic Players & Recorders
www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=368649
Have a good read of ALL the Posts
There will be a link to this Page on there
www.dcevolution.net/panasonic/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=32&Itemid=54
But Have a Good read of the Forum Thread ...There is a lot of Posts but also some Very good information on them
If you cannot see your actual player listed there is no point in asking "if your Player can be made Region free via the Methods covered on the Post" as the answer you will get is "Try the codes and you will find out"
If you think that the info contained in the Posts is too much for you to attempt then your ONLY other options (besides not bothering) is to use the Services of a "Chipping Company" ...a Google search will help you find one of those
Or a Panasonic Main Dealer
One thing I can confirm for Definite is that ALL Panasonic Players or Recorders Cannot be Hacked with the Handset Supplied with the Player...Not without some sort of Firmware Modification first...or with Extra help from a One For All Remote.
Hope this Helps

RE: AnyBody know hack for JVC TH-A35
Petzie
Like Most JVC Models there is No Handset Hack for your Player
It Requires a Firmware Upgrade to Make it Region Free
Not sure if the Firmware Upgrade is available for Download on the Net ...All links I have looked at are Dead
You can always use a "Chipping Company" to obtain the Upgrade but they obviously Cost ...a Google search will help you find one of those if you choose to use one.
Hope this Helps

If you cannot see your actual player listed there is no point in asking "if your Player can be made Region free via the Methods covered on the Post" as the answer you will get is "Try the codes and you will find out"
The Only Problem you may Find is due to the Fact that your Player is Region 1 (NTSC) by default it may not be physically capable of playing PAL disks even if made Multi Region ..it may not have the Parts inside to Play PAL only NTSC
So the Hack may make it theoretically Multi Region but the Only Region 2 Disks it may play will be Japanese Region 2 which are NTSC and if this is so then Region 2 European and Region 4 Australian disks will simply not be Recognised.
If you think that the info contained in the Posts is too much for you to attempt then your ONLY other options ( besides not bothering) is to use the Services of a "Chipping Company" ...a Google search will help you find one of those

Sony Genuine Items need a Set of Sevice Codes sent via a Programmable device like a One For All Remote ...Palm Pilot etc.. to make them Region Free
Have a look at these Pages the Codes and the Methods of applying them are covered Quite well
Do not worry about the Player Headings the Codes are Universal
