RE: 32" CRT advice
Well, I went out to buy one today and found that the Panasonic had been reduced to £297 - at that price I couldn`t argue.
I`m happy with my purchase.
Thanks for the advice.
Happy New Year
32" CRT advice
Telly`s gone pop. It was only a cheapo so I`m not too fussed - a Wharfedale branded 28" sold by Tesco about four years ago. I don`t feel too hard done by seeing as it was under £300.
So I`m looking for a new one. I would like to go for a 32" widescreen and I`m not at all fussed by the current LCD craze until HDTV`s more established, plus my TV lives in a corner of the room so it may as well have a massive protruding back on it . I figure that it should a pretty good time to buy a CRT as LCD is getting increasingly popular, the old stock is being sold off more cheaply.
I`m looking again at quite a low budget end, around £350, but I`m looking out for a better `name` , there seem to be a few good buys about, but I want to make the best choice possible. I`ve spent about a day looking in shops and on the internet, but I still need some guidance.
My local Powerhouse is doing a JVC 32T4B for £379 (incl. free DVD player) The guy in store told me it was 75hz scan rate which I`d never come across before - I can`t see anything on the net about it, does anyone know more about this? I was impressed by the picture quality in store.
The Currys down the road had a Panasonic TX32PM12 also for £379. I`ve found a review at www.homecinemachoice.com and it sounds very favourable
eBuyer have a few at the right price, but there are a lot of Sanyos, would they be worth getting? I also have minor reservations about buying something so cumbersome from eBuyer.
Any thoughts?
