Is the Toshiba SD 3109 multiregion???

I have just bought a Toshiba SD 3109 DVD player bought from the UK so it is currently region 2. I would like to be bale to play region 1 discs as well, do you know of any remote hacks avalible or will it have to be mod-chipped???

Samsung SM-304B Combo Drive region hack????

I am looking for a region hack for the samsung SM-304B cd-rw/DVD combo drive, I have looked around but cannot find n e thing!!

Would be most grateful if someone could pass on a firmware update or summin` similar!

Do you know if the Hitachi DV-P250 supports RCE discs?

When you insert the disc it will automatically switch to NTSC and start the Disc menu??? but I do not know if it is set as Region 0?????

I also have the DV-P250 from Hitachi.
Please could you tell me what exactely updateing the firmware will do for the player? and how do you get to update it on the unit itself?
