Toshiba DTH 4000 - Has anyone had any Problems playing R1 on this DVD

I am about to Recieve some Region 1 DVDS from America and Im just wondering if anyone has had any problems playing them.

If you have please post here, or if it has been fantastic for you please also post. I just want to be reassured that they will work when they arrive. I have hacked my DVD to be Multi Region.

RE: JMB 3000 - I Finally got it to work

I finally got it to work. Ok heres what I did.

I ignored the Handset and used the Controls on the DVD player itself like Wedge G said.

1)Make Sure No DVD is in the Drive
2)Power Off
3)Power On
4)Simultaneously hold down STOP, OPEN/CLOSE and Forward Skip.(In previous versions it says hold down Back and Forward Skip which is incorrect)
5)Revert to your Handset and goto the Top option which asks Region Code, select it.
6)In the Next Screen it asks for what region u would like, scroll down to FREE and press SELECT.
7)It will then take you to the First Screen you were introduced to, simply go down to EXIT and the DVD will Power itself off.

And thats it....I hope.

RE: Everyone having problems with Toy Story disc 3?

My Disc 3 has worked fine, though there was one time I started to play the DVD and it wouldnt allow me to have it in Colour. I avoided this Problem by simply turning it off and then back on.

Other than that no major probs like Lock ups as such. And Im using a JMB 3000 which I picked up for just over £100.

JMB 3000 - Hack doesn`t seem to Work - Any Tips?

I followed the Instructions from this site and it doesn`t seem to be working for me.

Has anyone got the same Model as me and have u got the Hack to work?? If yes could u please Post here the Procedures u did.

Also any tips would be appreciated or alternative ways.
