Problem Solved

Hey everyone, just letting you know I found a solution. I went to our local electronics shop (no, not radio shack, blech), and just picked up a simple rf modulater. It had rca jacks in, antenna in, and rf cable out to the tv. Works great. I notice extremely LITTLE quality degridation from dvd through the modulater. Looks good, sounds good, works for me. Thanks for the help.

Pez

by the way, i`m sure radio shack has these too, the one I bought was $24, american.

RE: HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well Simon, i`m almost positive it will work, I just need to find an old vcr.... heh, you`d think it would be easier than the time i`m having..... :)

RE: HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

well, I know it`s possible, the signal from the composite needs to be modulated to the rf carrier signal. I`ve also seen a couple conversion kits, but they`re up near 100 bucks, and if I were goin to spend that much, I may as well save up a month or two and get a tv. BUT, I can`t do that. tuition. blech. Anyway, it`s possible, i`ve seen it done, just lookin for suggestions on how. And that *shudders*, well, that was me shuddering at the macrovision :) Thanks anyway :)

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alright, I need some help. This has probably been posted before, but I already have spent over an hour reading through the posting looking for one similar, and i`ve decided to do this the easy way (I hope).

I was given a sony DVPS360 as a gift, and have an older tv, a tv which only has the standard coax cable connection. Of course, the dvd player has EVERY connection but. Now, i`m a college student, and I have no money to buy a new tv. We all know what happens when you connect it up through a vcr *shudders*. So, any suggestions on how I can convert ANY one of the connections on the back of the dvd player to the standard cable coax connection of my tv?
