Hello, i just got back from hong kong with this sexy little player. It should be region-free, as i got it converted over there.
O
ne problem it plays all regions except 2! Which is a big problem,as we are in Brtain.
I don`tget it, because the player was originally a region 2 player, but now it can`t play any R2`s.
Please can some one help me out, or post a remote hack thanks!
Aiwa XD-DV170 Hack Wanted
I am starting this new thread, as someone out there claims to have an Aiwa XD-DV170 hack.
Please share it with the people on this forum.
Like many people I`ve spent ages trying to find this hack, now that somemone claims they know the hack, I think it is only fair if they share it with everyone.

If you really have the Aiwa XD-DV170 hack, why don`t you just post it on the forum.
Then everyone will benefit. I`ve been searching for absolutely ages for the 170 hack with no luck, so if it exists, pleaese post it!

Yes there is a switch on the back of the player PAL/NTSC.

Does anyone know of a good website i can visit for the Aiwa XD-DV170 hack. I don`t grt how you hacked your dvd player, i`ve tried the hack 3 times without success? Am I the only one who can`t get this hack to work?

How did you hack the aiwa 170! I have tried the 370 hack as you said numerous times without sucess. Please can you tell me how you enabled the 370 hack on the 170 hack! Thanx
