Region 1 DVD`s are coded for NTSC colour system, I assume you are using a PAL or SECAM Television/Monitor. There are multi standard TV`s available in Europe, however, the simple solution is to, set the DVD and Television to RGB and use a 21 pin SCART lead to interconnect them. If your TV has no RGB facility, then you will not be able to have colour. Get back to me if you have an other problems. Regards Andrew
