Wharfdale 750s (new) NTSC (R1) disc`s cause screen to judder

I have done the region hacks for Region 1 but when i play the disc it causes the screen to judder. When i set the ouput setting to AUTO (instead of PAL) as posted on another website it causes the screen to go Black and White and 1/3 in size..but apart from that it then plays with no problem. I have now set the screen to pal 60 this now plays in colour and does not judder but is still 1/3 in size with crap at the top and bottom of the screen....can anyone help...PLEASE

I have only seen this happen when someone changes there system from PAL to NTSC in the settings menu. This can then be fixed by changing the TV SYS setting back to PAL. The codes to reset back to Default are Open/close,Slow, Prev, Next. Hope this helps
