I sympathise !
I too am going nuts trying to decide. At the moment I am leaning towards the Pioneer 530 but even then some people say it has noisy disc operation.

I am thinking of buying a Pioneer DV 530 (Silver model). Mainly because of the postive comments I have read here at this forum about Pioneer in general. I would be grateful if current owners would give me their opinion in this particular model.

Do a search of this forum. Someone has written a detailed account of the Philips 711 and seems quite favourable. I have just purchased a Wharfedale 750S (i.e yesterday!)and its going back due to so many differing views / problems with this machine.

LG3350e vs Wharfedale 750S

Can anyone give me their opinion on the LG3350E DVD player. I have just bought (yesterday) a Wharfedale 750S. For info I have a Sony TV with Dolby Prologic surround sound. Should I have gone for the LG as its got the built in Digital decoder bearing in mind my TV is only Dolby Prologic ?
