got the clock to change by plugging it into another tv that will allow it to get the freeview channels

as soon as I put back were I want to use it it loses the time

I`ll have to have a look @ my coax wiring as it uses the same upstairs as downstairs but the downstairs one doesn`t appear working from the same arieal

how do you reset the clock on the Wharfedale DVDRHD400F?

can`t find anything in the manual :(

do I need to reload freeview to get the clock going? (not using it as I`m on cable)

been a while since I wrote in but all`s OK now.

turned out to be a setting in the DVD setup screens. Can`t remember which 1 though so I`m not going to fiddle to find out

still wish I had my VHS tape recorders :D much easier to use

Wharfedale DVDRHD400F DVD Recorder with Freeview/80Gb HDD

have the above recorder but,

I can get sound but no picture and I want to record from my NTL/Virgin Media box.

Signal from cable NTL/Virgin Media box goes via scart to the Wharfedale and a scart from there to the TV (42" LG Plasma). Also have the freeview working. I can view channels on the freeview & record them.

No matter which way round I plug in the scart`s I can only get sound. Have swapped scart leads between systems but no joy. Also on 2nd Wharfedale as I thought the 1st was faulty. Argos help line is not much use either.
