Good point. As PAL60 is the same FPS as NTSC.

Just one observation. Once you do the Region hack, you do know that R1 disks don`t decode at the correct frame rate unless you switch the player to output NTSC? (kinda assumes you have an NTSC or dual mode tv)

Considering how MPEG is coded and decoded I have no idea why this is the case (other than a cheap player design), but when I played Romeo Must Die (R1) I noticed that there was frame stutter until I flipped the player into NTSC. It was as if 30fps was being generated by the player and then random frames were being dropped to achieve 25fps. I thought the player just couldn`t cope with certain DVDs until I changed output mode.
