RE: Hack needed for Philips Dvdr 3480

Hi there,

I`ve just tried this on mine and nothing happened when I pressed 5,0,1, but when I pressed 8 I got a grey box up on screen with the TV channel it was set on showing behind the grey box. It had several series of codes including something called PVR and stuff, loads of letters and numbers with a few symbols scattered in. It didn`t change when I pressed the last 0 in, is that what`s meant to happen do you know?

It`s all baffling lol

Phillips DVDR3480 HACK URGENTLY NEEDED!

I`m hoping one of you guys can help me, I`ve googled it but can`t find a hack for the Phillips DVD Recorder DVDR3480.

I`m a film student and was horrified to find out today that 2 of my fave films are now only available on Region 1 and my recorder is R2.

Please help, there`ll be a Christmas card in it for ya lol!
