I have a PET704/75 and was looking everywhere to play multiregion DVD.
Yes there is no preferences, use SELECT STATE instead then it works. Well it worked for me so,
Switch on player with no disc inside
Open Tray
Press SETUO, SELECT STATE
Press 2,5,2,3,1,5
Then LEFT, DOWN
Press 0 for mulitregion,
Press SETUP
turn off turn on, the player is good to go.
Let me know if that works for you.
Hope it helped. I was looking for ages for the region code and just thought of trying this.
