RE: samsung HT-X200
Look below you will see the sequence below.
I would emphasise, though, that when you turn the dvd player off it is important that there is NO dvd in it. If you have a region 2 player with a region 1 disk in it it will display an error code for the wrong region and you won`t be able to input the unlock code. You don`t want this so make sure that the dvd player is EMPTY before putting the code in because only when it is empty will it display the `no disk` information on screen.
I used the code suggested below (I have copy and pasted it here)
1. Remove disc from tray.
2. Switch off player and unplug power cord.
3. Wait 30 seconds, then reconnect power cord.
4. Turn on player with remote. Wait for player to finish loading and display `no disc`.
5. Press enter on remote. (There will be no on-screen response.)
6. Press 8, 4, 2, 6, 9 on the remote. (There will be no on-screen response.)
7. Press enter on the remote. Player will automatically shut off.
8. Turn player on.
9. Turn off.
10. Turn player on then off again.
11. Player is now region-free and you can play all disks without having to input another code.
