ps - I went out and bought a Toshiba vcr/dvd recorder today having been told by the sales person it would play any dvd - guess what - it doesn`t it is only region 2 and I`ve just spotted on the website Toshiba`s can`t be remotely unlocked. Ah well.

TEVION TCHT52100 (or may be TCHTS2100)

:/ Can anyone help me with a code to unlock the Tevion home entertainment system with DVD player the model number is either TCHT52100 or TCHTS2100.

Relatives from US and Australia have sent DVD`s to my elderly mother but unfortunately she can`t watch them as the system only plays Region 2.

I`ve even tried to buy a multiregion player but they don;t seem to sell the in the UK. Apparently ASDA did one for £20 but have stopped selling it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ps - we also have a BENCH dvd player that won`t play them either.
