Toshiba RD-XV47KB

Does anyone have a multi-region hack for the "Toshiba RD-XV47KB" DVD/HDD/VHS Recorder? I`ve been looking everywhere, and I can`t find one. Or does anyone know of any other solutions?

I`ve been trying to find it`s original make and model number - other than just Argos Value. From these 2 links, I think it was either a Power Voice System or a Venturer:

I don`t really know if that gets us any nearer to finding a region code for the Argos Value PVS 3377, but I`d really like to play R1 DVDs on mine.
