This worked for me thanks to the friend who put it here

1. Turn The Player On
2. Open Disk Tray
3. On The Remote Control Press Setup
4. Navigate to the Preferences Page Using the Right Arrow Key
5. On The Remote Control Press 138931 You will now see the Current Region Code Displayed
6. Use the Up / Down Arrow keys to Select the Region Required (1~6) or 0 (Zero) for Region Free.
7. On The Remote Control Press Setup
8. On The Remote Control Press OK

Am I going to use this program to do something with DVD`s from other regions and watch it on the dvd player.

I need to watch dvds from USA in my sony portable dvd player which is set for region 2.Is there anyone to help me to make it multi region???
