RE: Pioneer DV 530 - Noisy disc mechanism

A couple of discs are fine.. (e.g. American Pie)

But for X-Men (region 1) and Matrix there is an annoying clicking sound during certain parts of the film. (And it`s usually the quiet part of the film) which spoils the dialogue.

It sounds like the disc is spinning too fast.

Other than that the player is good. The picture and sound is great for the price. I`m not sure whether I should return it or not?

Anyone out there with a Pioneer DV-530??

I`ve recently got one. It`s fine except that the disc mechanism is bit
noisy during certain parts of the film. There is a clicking sound.

Is this normal for the Pioneer DV-530?
