Australian site, but shipping is quite low, and apparently fast delivery times too.

e.g Toy Story 3 disc set - £22.

OK, the SCAN machine may not be perfect, but at least we know there are people out there working on making it better.

SCAN machines can only be bought on the internet, and if a customer can`t be bothered to do a little research before they buy, then that`s their tough.

For the price of the machine, I think the pros outweigh the cons.

They are not multi region out of the box, but only when chipped.

So is the pixellation a firmware isshoo?
I have seen a couple of reviews, and the thing that it is currently stopping me from bying the player is the reported pixellation. (albeit it in one review of a fast action sequence)

Are the laer models with newer firmware pivel-free?

I have narrowed down the player I would like to buy to the Pioneer 535 and the Scan 2000, and just wanted to ask your opinion of the former.

I didn`t post a new topic as I dont want to be told that the "Aiwa 370 (officially) rocks!!" or whatever.

Is the picture quality as good on the scan as the pioneer? Is it rce friendly? Are the firmware upgrades easily available?
