think i know which one you mean m8 althought it was hard to find so that one will do then also how do i know that it will do for the firmware also how do i check the firmware???

i don`t want to sound silly but i have been thought this forum and other forums to find a region free crack for these two machine and have come to the conclusion that there is a disk that i can burn and upgrade the firmware for the 210 any way
could someone tell me am i right and also will the same disk do for the 110. these r for my friend dvd player and they would like to get region 1 disk to play..
can some one put me in the right direction please as i am about to pull my hair out

i have tried the remote hack with it`s own remote by :-
play
then enter 1,5,9
i then get the "-----------" on the dvd player i entered the number but the thing wouldn`t let me press the play button
so do i need to get an all in 1 or am i doing something wrong?????

i was hoping for some help just got the son a philips dvd player 622 and am hoping that some one will help
few problems
1 how do i know the firmware version also i have d/load the new firmware can i use nero to burn it?
also is it remote hackable ? if not will this remote work to remote hack it

hi all i am looking to buy a new dvd player that dose a few things and am looking any good advice
i can get:-
sony dvp ns300-£177.46
pioneer dvd-rv31-£177.98
pioneer dvd-444-£199.99
toshiba sd-110e-£148.33
philips dvd 622-£158.95 (all above from dixons)
philips dvd-722-£199
sony dvp-s315-£199
kenwood dvf3050s-£149.98(all from laser)
now what i am looking for:-
i want a dvd/vcd player in a multi region format (also mirco disabled if possible but not important)can any of the above do that? without having to buy a magic remote, or having to pay to get it chipped!!!! i want a remote hack one (god i`m not looking for much am i!)
also do they play cdrs i want to play my own vcds (unbranded white labels)
any and all help welcome
if none of the above do can u recommend any
