Kimbers,
I have been searching for a hack for the 170 for a long time, if you have the hack for it and it is the same as the 370 it doesn`t work. If you have another one I would be most grateful if you could mail it to me at kuyzaj[at]moc.liamtoh, cheers,
Jazy.

The person who wrote in your guest book and the person here are one and the same, there is a real shortage of good material about Aiwa players etc. etc. I will give this hack another go over the weekend when I receive my region one disk, later,

Aiwa XD-DV170 hack required
Hello fellow enthusiasts,
I have just purchased one of those little Aiwa units for when I am on the road. The trouble is that after finding the price of the US DVD`s I am a little p***ed off with the UK prices. Is there anyone out there who knows of a remote hack for this unit or a company that is producing compatible patch kits........yours hopefully,
Jazy....
