i got my alphason stands from miller bros for £29.95 pair, theyre also alailable at comet but for £35.00ish
concrete filled base, standard mounting platform, hollow adjustable tubes finished in silver.

just had a look at the `features` on my panasonic, and lip sync does seem a bit out, but not by miles - i know its probably not enough to cause this type of problem, but how about the 5.1 speaker delay adjustment? - if its delay is set too high on the centre channel (i suppose where most speach would come from) it could compound the problem on an already poorly sync`d disk. although the sound on the feature is only stereo.........
