Yup - I was aware they are currently out of stock...
My posting was to see if I should wait for availability or buy elsewhere.
Don`t suppose there`s any chance of an advance copy of the review ;-)

I was told by Scan that they were expecting a supply in 1 month (and that was three weeks ago). Nelley now suggests further delay until end of March.

Any info would be great.

Scan AVR 3000 - any reviews

Does anyone know if any reviews are available on this DVD player?
or - do you have one and would like to share the good/bad points

My current player (Scan SC2000) went pop - so am considering this as a replacement.

Any info - gratefully received.

Mmm...

My player arrived with v1.64.
I tried the remote codes to make it VCR friendly - this appeared not to work (not suprisingly).
I then upgraded to v2.14 (huge thanks to NIVZ for info) - entered the remote codes and I now have a nice VCR friendly player.

From other bulletins, everyone suggests you need to start on v1.80 then upgrade. Have I just been jammy, or is the v1.80 baseline just a safe lauch pad for all changes.
