Thanx for the info, just one more thing before i try it. Does a menu come up once the codes been entered so you can see whats blowing on the DVD region selection? (Grundig GDV520)

Please ignore question below, after spending 30 min browsing I found the code i wanted. BIG UP to Maverick2000, Steve and NCH. One question, do I have to have a R1 disk in the machine before the code is entered and do I have to enter it each time I want to watch R1 or is it a case of once entered forever multi region????
P.s. By the way this is the 3rd DVD player I`ve bought and by the far the best,(- Sharp DV620 being a pile of camel poo that keeps freezing up and i got two of them! -) just 2 speakers on their own blow the shelves off the wall, i`m gonna connect all 6 speakers and the sub and play Jurrasic Park`s Verlociraptor`s scene at top whack and watch the old girl next door VerlociCRAP herself! ONCE AGAIN...BIG UP FELLAZ!

GRUNDIG GDV520.........HELP - MULTI REGION CODES?

I am in desperate need of help! I own a Grundig GDV520 and want to know if there is a region code for it, if it is tempory or permanment and does it work? I need it ASAP as i go on my hols in 5 days and want to get some R1 DVD`s abroad if i can!!!!
