I also have a Warfdale 750, and it has always played region 1 disks fine, after I used the 0,1,2,3 play hack. However, I just recieved 2x dvd`s from video-now.com, (Charlie`s Angels + 6th Day) and both come up with a world map, stating "there is nothing wrong with this region 1 dvd. this dvd will only work on non-modified region 1 dvd players... etc" What`s all this about? have the film makers put an additional encoding on them?
btw - in the same batch came Red Planet, and that works fine.
