RE: LOGIX DVD 3000 - Can I play Region 1 ???

unfortunatly using Logix official firmware you can not disable macro. I use scan firmware which is vcr friendly but by using this you will void your warranty. Take a look at this site read the posts and all the readme files, and if you decide it is worth the risk then good luck.

Yes this should work use the second set of instructions which are for

Serial Number between 01024501-01025200

mine also is one of the new ones and it works for me!

RE: NEW LOGIX3000 PROBLEM,ANY IDEAS?

Hi I also have a logix mine came with firmware 2.07 and wan`t vcr friendly, but was multiregion. I updated to 2.20 from the logix website and this still didn`t make it vcr friendly even with the vcr friendly code!

RE: LOGIX DVD 3000 - Can I play Region 1 ???

you should be able to play region 1 disks on the logix using this hack

depends on how new the machine is to which method you use. My is new and I can use the second method.

I think that once the machine is turned off then when you turn it back on it returns back to its original setting, if not use the hack to get each settimg as required.

1. Serial Number between 00110001-01014500
Open --> Set-up ---> Title step ---> Next => secret menu(region ID menu)
Region ID menu ---> Bypass(region free)

2. Serial Number between 01024501-01025200
