Want to change Fisher DVDS-1000 NTSC to play PAL for Region 2 Disks

Basically, I have a US region 1 player and I would like to see the DVDs that I purchased from Europe (Region 2). I was wondering if any one knows of a way to convert my DVD player to allow region 2 disks to play on my Region 1 Fisher DVDS-1000 player. I do have a Multi system TV. Any one out there who can help me
