Are you 100% certain that it`s not the type of blank media that you`re using?
What was the burn speed that you copied the CD`s with?
This should be very interesting for owners of samsungs etc...

Yes it can playback MP3`s cut onto a cd-rom. The trick is to find a brand that the 511 can read. I found, (by accident), that the intenso 700Mb cd`s work fine.
I have not tried multiple directories or variable bit rate MP3`s, but i`ll get back to you.
