RE: PHILLIPS DVD710 HACK

Hi Allan,
I switched on the DVD player and the TV.
The TV screen said `enter disc` and the DVD screen said `no disc`

I selected DVD on the remote and typed the number 0539 and pressed the Magic button.
The onscreen display did not change.
Using the DVD`s remote I typed 222222005255 and then pressed the play buton on the DVD`s remote. The onsceen display still said No Disc. I turned the power off, waited 10 seconds then put the power back on.
When I put a disc in nothing had changed. Have I misunderstood the instructions?
Many thanks for your prompt reply
Paul.

PHILLIPS DVD710 HACK

Have tried to change the region setting to region 1 compatible using the OneForAll 6 remote as printed in Multi-Region Hacks for Philips DVD-750 but the onscreen display does not change to `

` when I press the Magic button and consequently the hack does not work. Anyone help, please? Paul R
