Sounds to me like your discs are dirty, nothing more - I have the same player, multi region and have used lots of region 1 and 2 discs and have never found this a problem. The only time I have encountered this is when I rent a DVD and it is sirty or scratched.

I also own a JMB 3000 (surely THE best player for under £150 available) and have seen this question popping up a lot on this site in relation for other players - what does disabling the macrovision do? what are the advantages?

Can I make my DVD player play CD-R or even MP3 - It is a JMB DVD 3000 and does not currently play anything on CD-R. If there is either a hack to enable this or even updates I can purchase on CD let me know (keeping in mind that the machine will not currently play CD-R i am not sure if a update on CD-R would work - it would have to be able to read it first (chicken ... egg!)

Kenwood DVD Player - I think DV 300 - I need a remote hack - please help

I need a remote hack for a Kenwood DVD player - I think it is a DV 300 - If you know of anywhere to get Kenwood hacks please let me know - they are not covered at all on these pages
