RE: DVD Player £19.99 at Sainsburys

Bought 2 of these DVD players so far - one for me and one for a Christmas present. For the price, they`re a great piece of kit with decent picture and sound. Multi-region straight out of the box too.

CyberHome AD-M 212/512 Hacking Problems

I`ve bought one of these machines from WH Smith and have tried to unlock the region code without success.
When I go to the secret menu, there is no option heading for Region Code or Macrovision.
The firmware is version A009.9-0112.
Do I need to get another version of the firmware? If so, which one?
