RE: Can Anyone Give Me Info On What A External Macrovision Remover Is...??

External macrovision remover basically stabilzes the signal...this is mainly used to allow you to hook up your dvd player through vcr without the picture fading in and out. This is will allow you to copy your dvd`s to VHS which the companies don`t want you to do of course....some movies, like the emporers new groove have implemented even further copy protections...with this movie it seems they`ve added horizontal lines all accross the screen at certain key frames...when watching it through a dvd player it too fast too notice, but once copied onto vhs the picture has constant horizontal lines through the whole movie....pretty smart technology...
