just received my region x add-on today and it works a treat,well worth £20 and you don`t mess up the gaurantee by having it chipped!It`s a must have.

can`t answer all your questions stephen but as for chipping the ps2 for multi region you may not have to as datel are releasing a memory card called dvd region x at the end of the month that allows you to play different region discs on your machine.as for it working on us version i don`t know.its £19.99 check it out on their website www.d3world.com.

just seen the datel website and they are selling a memory card called the REGION X which allows people with a european ps2 to play different region discs on their machine.Has anyone out there tried it.Its £19.99 and it`s on datels website www.d3world.com
