I use PowerDVD 4 XP. Picture looks better than v3 and I now use DTS as well :)

i have just ordered Akira (R1) from play247 and I e-mailed them about custom charges. And they said that if you get hit by it they will refund it.

Cant say fairer than that :))

I think the worst is when DVD`s list Scene access as an extra. As if you are lucky to have it.

I have bought Blackadder Goes Forth Region 1, and yes the extras are definately there. The main extra on this disk is an Interview with Richard Curtis which is about 25mins long.

The worst DVD Ive bought in terms of the transfer to DVD is "The Crow" Region 2. An appalling 4:3 s***e picture, not much better sound, f*cheth all extras. I rue the day I payed money for that.

Oh and then I find out that there is a fu*king R1 collecters edition!!!!

RE: Friends discs, where are they cheap?

My advice is dont bother buying friends on DVD. I bought Series 4 9-16 and the video quality is pathetic!. Get them on video for cheaper.
