in the latest argos sale leaflet thay have the sony davs300 dvd player on sale for £199 down from £489 its got the subwoofer amplifier and 6 speakers. it says see cat, page 604 , cat No.537/2135. the price is on offer 19 june till 26 july

Isn`t this the one Bargaincrazy were selling a few moths ago for £149.99?

Does anyone have a link to a review of this system, I know its not multiregion unless chipped.

Does anyone have one, if so does it connect easily to TV and can you play TV and video through the amplifier,

Any info appreciated.......

Excellent system, and yes you can play your TV/Video through the amp.

Only prob with system is that it only has composite and s-vid out lacks the scart socket, it comes with a poxy composite lead with a scart adaptor no s-vid lead supplied, and u can only play some cdrs so no good if u burn ure own vcds and last of all not multiregion unless chipped. Othewise a good machine with a lot of sound output power can`t fault pic quality.

Went to order one tonight and it`s out of stock (Surprise, Surprise) even though it doesn`t go on sale until the 19th of June, well so the sale leaflet says....

Max, it was online that I tried to order it. I also tried instore yesterday but they said this model was only stocked at their warehouse.

Maybe they`ll get some more in..........

My mrs , who works in Argos ( just a few hours a week) tell me that this Sony was on sale at £299 in the current booklet which expired today. It`s a home delivery only item , which means it cannot be ordered over the net or on `Ring and Reserve` , but can only be ordered in store or by a telephone order line (number in the back of the Argos catalogue).
