RE: really cheap minidisk players
I spotted these the other day and didnt realise quite how good value they were. Very tempted BUT can anyone push me over the edge and recommend this NETMD caper. Prob go for the 707 if anyone has any +ve comments to make.

Don`t have time now but will post more tomorrow, just got a Net Mini disk & would not have anything else now
RE: really cheap minidisk players
the NETMDs are eally worth the money. Any music you download from the internet can be put on a minidisk in just a couple of minutes. I think i did about 1 hours worth of songs in 2 minutes. The sound quality is v.good aswell. You can fit over 5 hours of music on 1 disk, but its supposed to be slightly less quality than if you put 1and half hours on, but there is not much difference

Thats MAGIC fellas and thank you. (the Mrs may not thank you mind)
If you could get back with more Paull that would be just swell, for eg is the extra £20 for the 909 (over the 707) money well spent?
Thanks Gents

I have the Sony MZ N1. The main advantage seems to be a backlight on the remote. They do download very fast. It is a piece of cake to put CDs on them quickly. There are 3 lengths. Presume the disk is 80 minutes it works out at... Normal 80 minutes, double 160 minutes (good MP3 Quality) 4 times 320 minutes (lower MP3 quality). I have put on average 5 CDs on the 4 times. The quality on 4 times would be good enough to use in a car. I use it in bed & it is hardly noticeable. The 2 times (double) is very, very good. The normal speed is as CD quality. I expect a lot of people would not tell the difference, or worry about the Normal or 2 times speed. As a direct comparison there is a difference between the normal & 4 times through a Hi Fi. I am having problems getting some names to go onto the disc if I use MP3 files from folders. The first folder of say 20 Tracks go on OK but the second one seems to stop transferring song titles after the next 5 or so. Probably not doing something right. But all the CDs go on no problem & are automatically titled via Internet.
RE: really cheap minidisk players
the mzr 909 is not a net mini disk player it is a normal player and recorderthe best bargen on mini disks has got to be the mzn 707 it does the same as most of the other mini disk players may be not the same battery life but is worth it for 150 quid you can beat it any where
