I found this on the dvd forums and got mine delivereed yesterday.I must say for a second tv I would reccomend this to anyone especially for this price,it looks cool and the picture is good to.

I`ve heard others talk of these other "dvd forums" - where exactly are they ?

You have to register with them but its straightforward enough, there is a bargains section with probably too many entries for me, takes ages to read, but I suppose thats nitpicking..

I`ve just ordered one for the bedroom, just a shame it`s not nicam but at that price you can`t grumble. unbeatable are still selling it at £175

The orange one has 2 scart sockets and is fastext. the green has one scart socket and is only teletext. Surprise surprise, only the green one is in stock.

I didn`t think there was an orange version, do you mean the red ?

Dixons/Currys sites are quite misleading, going by another forum there is definately only 1 scart on the red, Dixons were only selling the red last week I think. Here is a review site for the telly.....

I`m not sure about the Text/fastext as Miller Brothers has the green with Fastext, I prefer good old teletext though just to be awkward....

Still at under £94 its still VFM.

What`s the difference between fasttext and teletext, if there is one? Also, this deal has been on for about 3 weeks now, and i think it`s only for the green ones. Certainly, ever time i`ve looked, the picture on their front page advertising the deal has been a greenie. Perhaps people will only buy a green telly if it`s less than a hundred quid?
I`m quite chuffed with mine, even though the way it tapers off at the back makes it look effing humungous! The picture`s not bad, and I think the tv as a whole looks pretty cool. For 94 smackers you can`t complain, although I did have to give dixons a kick up the arse about delivery. Said it would take 4 working days (ordered on a monday), took 9! Strangely, it arrived the day after I rang to chase it up. Funny how that happens....

I posted this on the 29th June. Have my nice green LG sitting in the spare room with my LG DVD HiFi system which I picked up for £179.99 bargain!
