Page 1 of Last Castle & Rollerball for £4.99

Apologies if this has been posted before, but...

Game Ltd are selling:
- The Last Castle (military prison action film with Robert Redford)
- Rollerball (original version of the future sport film with James Caan)
for £4.99

They had at least half a dozen copies in the Nottingham, Victoria Centre store. Rollerball is also 4.99 at www.game.uk.com (but couldn`t find The Last Castle)

They also had Striptease (Demi Moore) for £5.99 but I hear it`s excrement.

Rollerball is out of stock ---drat !!

Likening Striptease to excrement is unfair.

At least the latter is good for the roses. ;-)

I wouldn`t mind Rollerball. I`ll take a look at the Nottingham Store on Saturday!

Everything at £4.99 is out of stock! In fact there wasn`t much that was in stock! To the guy who said he`d have a look in store on Saturday, i`d say don`t waste your petrol/bus money.

Roger, did you go to the Game store in Notts, Victoria Centre?

I was in there on Thursday lunch time & they definately still had several copies of the Last Castle (didn`t look for Rollerball, as I`d already brought it)

Mr. Merriman, apologies if you thought I was local, but my local store is Swansea, which had an apalling collection. I was merely pointing out that all the bargains had gone from the website by Thursday, so I couldn`t see many being in-store by Saturday. Perhaps it was worth your while, I hope so. Roger.

I went to the Portsmouth (High Street) store (not the rebranded EB store in Cascades), to find one copy of Last Castle o display. Didnt see anything else whioch took my fancy.

Took it to the counter where the assistant dissapeared. came back 5/10 minutes later saying that it was out of stock.

I`m getting fed up of going to get things where a box is opn display but the item is not in stock. Last time I went to buy a prepay mobile from tesco - three boxes on display no boxes (separate issue).

Anyway, nothing decent left in the portsmouth stores, so dont bother visiting them
