Page 1 of 12 DVD`s for £12 in The Works

My good lady saw that The Works Publishers Outlet (Falkirk branch) are selling a bundle of 12 DVD`s for £12 . Only film she can remember from the pack was "The Final Countdown" (Kirk Douglas Martin Sheen). Not sure about the rest but hey for a quid a movie I`d even watch Queen of the damned again .

God bless you choagy believe it or not I`ve been discussing the very film on the general forum and got excited about someone telling me it was only a fiver. Is this place open today ( Sunday ) cos as you know Cumbernauld is in spitting distance.

*UPDATE* just done a bit of phoning around, and apparently they have different packs of 12, sorted by genre - ie horror, sci-fi, action etc. I was interested in `The Final Countdown` myself, but the other 11 films sound a bit (lot) pap. One of them is `crocodile`, which by coincedence i had the misfortune of watching recently on channel 5 :-)

Sorry kywk I am not sure if they are open today or not . I just hope they have the bundle tomorrow if I manage to get up there.

They have been on sale for months four different sets I think, never heard of any of them so never bought.

Still might take another look!

I got the American Heroes set from them about a month ago, also 12 films for £12. These seem to be made for TV action films all okay around 90 minutes long. Four of these are the made for TV Delta Force series C5 had on TV late last year.
Disks come in 3 cases. Each holds 2 disk (one on each side of the inside of the case), with each being a DVD10 (so a film on each side of the disk).

At the price okay, and quality was fine so keep me busy over the next month or so.

I think that play.com offer these Hollywood DVD boxsets, and as the previous poster said, by genre.

I don`t think that they are as low as £12.00 though.

Finally got through to the Stirling shop at close of play.
Several in stock, so a visit to the fair city of Stirling tomorrow methinks ;-))
