Refurbished XDAs from O2 shops, usually £299, for £99

The PDA/mobile phone mix usually sells at £299, but if you ask (best phone up and ask) for a refurbished one, it costs only £99.

It`s this sort, and as you can see it`s pretty tasty. I`m afraid I know nothing about call charges or the like, though.

Hi funker,

I also must... resist... temptation!!!

Is the offer country wide and is the Windows environ fully functional like on the iPaq`s?

If so, does it contain Microsoft Money too (as I think they removed it off many PDA`s for some reason!)?

It`s not an offer, really. It`s just something that you need to be in the `know` about. Any O2 shop that sells XDAs, and if they have refurbished ones in stock, should be able to offer you the same deal.

And you can probably download money for it somewhere.

I already have :) off the Microsoft website.

One question though, is the OS 2002?

It also appears to be impossible to find an email address for sales on the o2 website... or a phone number that is cheaper than 50p per minute. Great!

I used their website to find the nearest store to me then phoned them.

I just went in the store. The OS on the store machine was the newest one, and i think the refurbished ones are the same.

I phoned the number (from work) and was asked if i could hold and then told they couldn`t help me and was given a london number. I phoned the london line and was asked to hold and then said they couldn`t help and transferred me to technical support. tech support said that they couldn`t advise on sales and gave me the original number and recommend that I ask the nearest store to order for me.

All in all, it is strange how I am put on told and then told that no one can help me.

Has anyone had any luck with the branches?
